Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp made a few changes to his starting lineup for the visit of rock-bottom Watford .
One of those was enforced, with Joe Gomes replacing the injured Dejan Lovren at centre-back, alongside Virgil van Dijk.
But the German, who signed a new deal on Friday, also made a couple of other changes, as the Reds continued their bust December.
James Milner came in at left-back and Xherdan Shaqiri also started, with Andy Robertson and Naby Keita the men dropping out of the lineup.
