American serial killer Edmund Emil Kemper III, known as the ‘Co-Ed killer’, was found guilty of 10 counts of murder between 1964 and 1973.
His victims included his grandparents and his mother and her best friend.
Kemper also murdered six students – raping, murdering and decapitating his victims.
He would pick up and kill female students who were hitchhiking, taking them back to his home and perform sex acts on their dismembered bodies.
Kemper, who is 6ft, 9 in tall, was convicted in 1973 and received eight life sentences.
