The alleged victim of an accused serial rapist broke down in court as she recalled being forced into a car at knifepoint.
The young woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told jurors at the Old Bailey that she had been walking home in Watford last April when she was abducted and raped.
Joseph McCann, 34, faces 37 counts of rape, sexual assault, abduction and false imprisonment of 11 people.
His oldest alleged victim was a 71 year old woman. The youngest was an 11-year-old boy, who the Crown claims was raped in front of his teenage sister, who was also raped as their mother lay tied to a bed in an adjoining room.
McCann, from Harrow in north London, denies all the charges against him.
The Old Bailey heard live evidence, via video link, from the defendant’s first alleged victim.
The young woman told the court she was walking home in the early hours of 21 April, after an evening out at a Watford night club, when a car pulled up nearby.
