Gary Neville is backing Chelsea to beat Liverpool this weekend to keep the Premier League title race alive.
The Reds are already five points clear of Manchester City at the the top of the table having won all five of their opening fixtures.
But Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool face a tough test at Stamford Bridge this weekend, and Neville is hoping Chelsea can get a result.
“Sunday’s a big game, said Neville on Sky Sports. “The last two years have been unique as title winning seasons. Man City have been incredible and Liverpool have been playing title-winning football for 18 months.
“It’d be nice to see them drop points; not just for personal reasons but it’s nice to see Liverpool drop points, City to drop points to make it more of a dramatic season.
“I loved last season and the quality of it, but it’s nice to see a dramatic season where teams can pull points of each other. That’s what made the Premier League famous all around the world.”
