Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman has reportedly turned herself into the police to begin a 14-day sentence over the college admissions bribery scandal.
Last month, the 56-year-old was sentenced after pleading guilty to paying $15,000 (£12,100) to doctor her older daughter Sophia’s university entrance exams, without the youngster’s knowledge.
According to TMZ, Felicity arrived at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California – near San Francisco – on Tuesday to begin her two-week sentence.
A judge handed Felicity 14 days in jail, a $30,000 (£23,300) fine, one-year of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.
Judge Indira Talwani told Felicity at the sentencing: ‘I don’t think anyone wants to be going to prison. ‘I do think this is the right sentence here. You move forward and you can rebuild your life after this. You pay your dues.’
