It was all’s well that ends well on Death In Paradise as DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little) had a big decision to make.
After taking over from Detective Jack Mooney (Ardal O’Hanlan), Neville was good and ready to pack up and ship out from Saint Marie back to the Britain.
But as he solved yet another complicated murder where all wasn’t what it seemed, he became more and more reluctant to say goodbye.
There was even a leaving party for him and things seemed pretty final, and Neville was waved off in a taxi by his new police force friends.
But in the episode’s last moments he suddenly returned, saying he didn’t want to go back to his lonely life in Blighty.
He said: ‘My mother always says sometimes you have to break something before you can try to fix it.
‘I know it’s gonna be hard and I’m gonna feel dreadful all the time, but I’m fed up with living the way I have to…
